Cash-on-Cash Analysis
Cash-on-cash return is the rate of return based on cash income in relation to the amount of cash invested. It is a measure of yield on an investment in securities and/or income-producing assets that does not involve the secondary market. This ratio is often used by investors in real estate transactions to determine which properties produce the most cash and to determine if a property is under-priced. Also, this ratio is used in the purchase of businesses.
